The RAZ TN9000 is the device that put RAZ on the map — and it's still the one I recommend to anyone who asks "which RAZ should I get first?" Compact enough for a front pocket, stacked with 50+ flavors (the widest selection in the RAZ lineup), and equipped with an HD smart screen and adjustable airflow that most 9K-puff devices don't offer. It's not the biggest or most powerful RAZ anymore, but that's exactly the point. This is the daily carry that just works.
The OG That Started Everything
Every RAZ device that exists today — the LTX 25000, the RYL 35K, the RX 50K, the VUE 50K — traces its DNA back to the TN9000. It was RAZ's first device to combine an HD screen with adjustable airflow in a disposable format, and it immediately made every other 9,000-puff vape on the market feel dated. It evolved from the earlier CA6000 with a larger tank, better screen, and mesh coil technology that dramatically improved flavor consistency.
Two years later, the TN9000 is still in active production, still getting new flavor drops, and still outselling most competitors in its class. That kind of longevity in the disposable vape market — where most devices disappear within six months — tells you something about the foundation RAZ built here.

What I Actually Like About the TN9000
The Size Is the Feature
I've reviewed every RAZ device released to date, and the TN9000 is still the only one I can comfortably carry in a front jeans pocket without it printing through the fabric. The LTX 25000 is bulkier. The RYL 35K is a tank. The RX 50K is a brick. The TN9000 is the RAZ you forget you're carrying — until you need it.
For a compact device, 12mL of e-liquid and 9,000 puffs is generous. That's 1–2 weeks for an average vaper, or about 7–10 days for heavy use. The 650mAh battery needs charging every 1–2 days depending on frequency, but USB-C charges to full in under 45 minutes, so it's never a real inconvenience.
The Screen That Set the Standard
The TN9000 was the first RAZ device with a 0.96" HD smart screen, and it remains one of the sharpest displays in any disposable vape. It shows battery percentage, e-liquid level, and animated puff effects in real time. No guessing when your juice is running low or your battery needs a charge — you can see it at a glance.
What the screen does not show: wattage, puff count, or mode selection. These features came later with the LTX 25000 and RX 50K. On the TN9000, the screen is purely informational — battery and juice, done. Simple, which fits the device's philosophy.
Adjustable Airflow That Actually Works
The airflow slider sits on the bottom of the device. Slide it fully open for a loose, airy draw (closer to direct-to-lung) that produces bigger clouds at lower intensity. Restrict it partially for a tighter, warmer draw (mouth-to-lung) that concentrates flavor and simulates the throat hit of a cigarette more closely.
I run the TN9000 at roughly 60% open for most flavors — tight enough for concentrated taste, open enough for comfortable airflow. Ice flavors like Miami Mint benefit from a more open setting; dessert flavors like Strawberry Shortcake taste richer with tighter airflow. It's a small adjustment that makes a meaningful difference.
50+ Flavors — The Widest Selection in Any RAZ Device
This is the TN9000's biggest competitive advantage over every other RAZ, period. No other single RAZ device offers as many flavor options. The lineup spans four editions:
The core lineup. Covers every profile — fruit, ice, menthol, dessert, candy, tobacco. Top sellers: Miami Mint, Blue Razz Ice, Night Crawler, Watermelon Ice, Georgia Peach, Strawberry Shortcake.
Premium, TN9000-only profiles. Tiffany (kiwi-watermelon), Ruby (fruit punch), Violet (grape-strawberry), Vicky (pink lemonade). These don't exist on any other RAZ device.
RAZ periodically drops limited-run TN9000 variants — Halloween, holiday, and special packaging with exclusive colorways. Same internal specs, collectible shells.
0mg versions of the most popular profiles. Same flavor, same vapor production, zero nicotine. Full details in our RAZ Zero Nicotine Guide.

What the TN9000 Doesn't Do
Honest assessment: the TN9000 has clear limitations compared to newer RAZ devices, and you should know them before buying.
No power modes. The TN9000 runs at a single, fixed wattage. You can't switch between Regular and Boost modes like the LTX 25000, or choose from three modes like the RX 50K. What you feel on the first puff is what you get on the last. For most casual vapers, this is fine. If you want intensity control, you need to upgrade.
No button. The TN9000 is purely draw-activated. There's no button to click for mode switching, screen dimming, or power on/off. This is simpler — but it also means you can't lock the device to prevent accidental firing in a bag or pocket. The later models (LTX 25000+) added button controls that solve this.
Single mesh coil, not dual. The TN9000 uses a single integrated mesh coil. The LTX 25000 and later devices upgraded to dual mesh coils, which produce denser vapor and marginally better flavor depth. The TN9000's single coil is still excellent — but side by side, the dual-coil devices do taste slightly richer on complex flavors.
No leather finish. The TN9000 has a smooth plastic body. Functional and lightweight, but it lacks the premium leather-inset grip of the LTX 25000 and RYL 35K. It also shows fingerprints more readily on darker colorways.
Who Is the TN9000 For?
The TN9000 is the right choice if any of these apply to you:
You want the most flavor options. With 50+ variants including 4 Dream Edition exclusives, the TN9000 offers more variety than any other single RAZ device. If you like trying new flavors frequently, this is your playground.
You value portability above all else. It's the smallest and lightest RAZ with a full-featured screen and airflow control. If you carry your vape in a front pocket, this is the one that disappears.
You're new to RAZ or to vaping. Draw-activated, single-mode, no buttons to learn. Pick a flavor, inhale, done. The TN9000 has the lowest learning curve in the RAZ lineup.
You want the lowest entry price. At $16.99 at VapesOnlineShop, the TN9000 is the most affordable RAZ device — a solid starting point before deciding if you want to invest in higher-capacity models.

*VUE 50K cost per 1K puffs calculated with replacement pods ($12.99 per 50K pod) after initial kit purchase.
The upgrade path is clear: If you love the TN9000 but want longer life and more power, the LTX 25000 is the natural next step — nearly 3× the puffs with dual modes and a leather body for $6 more. If you want the absolute best value per puff, the VUE 50K pod system brings cost down to $0.26/1K puffs on replacement pods. For maximum raw performance, the RX 50K delivers three power modes and 19mL of juice.
Monthly Cost Comparison
How much does it actually cost to use a TN9000 as your daily driver versus other RAZ devices?
| Usage Level | TN9000 ($16.99) | LTX 25000 ($22.99) | VUE 50K (pod $12.99) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Light (300 puffs/day) | ~$17/month (1 device) | ~$10/month (0.4 devices) | ~$8/month (0.2 pods) |
| Moderate (500 puffs/day) | ~$28/month (1.7 devices) | ~$15/month (0.6 devices) | ~$10/month (0.3 pods) |
| Heavy (800+ puffs/day) | ~$45/month (2.7 devices) | ~$23/month (1 device) | ~$13/month (0.5 pods) |
The TN9000's per-device cost is the lowest in the RAZ lineup, but heavy users burn through them faster due to the 9K puff limit. If you're using more than 500 puffs per day consistently, the math favors upgrading to a higher-capacity device.
